Northeast
Region Conference and Banquet: The Region
Commander and staff request your attendance at
Northeast Region Conference and Banquet on from
November 10th to the 13th at the Holiday Inn Boxboro
Woods, in Boxboro MA.
The uniform of
the day for the 2005 conference participant is blue
shirt and pants/skirt or aviator shirt and gray
pants/skirt, no tie. The uniform for the head table
is Class A jacket or blazer Those participating in
the ELT Rodeo may wear utility uniform WHILE
participating in the Rodeo. Banquet dress is (in
order of preference) mess dress, tux/formal, CAP
semiformal, suit/dress. The room cost is $75/night
single & double $79.00/night triple & quad. Price
includes Continental Breakfast. Travel days are 10
and 13 November. Meetings will be 11 and 12
November. We plan to recognize veterans on 11
November (Veteran's Day) In addition to the regular
conference schedule we plan to hold a STRATOPS
meeting and other professional development.

chain of command. More information will come at the
weekly meetings.

Wing Drill
Team: The Cadet Advisory Council has created a
new Committee to start a Wing Drill Team. The team
will consist of 12 members 2 alternates and a
captain. If you interested in this team talk to you
local CAC rep or contact the committee chair, C/Capt
Sam Imbriale, at
smimbriale@usa.com.
- Uniform
Change:
At the Winter National Boards it was decided to
change the Rank placement on the BDU's. Effectively
immediately the CAP on the collar will be replaced
with the persons Rank. Now there will be Rank on
both collars and no CAP. This is for both Cadets and
Seniors. (BDU's ONLY). Any questions can be answered
through your chain of command.

Safety Pledge:
The National Commander, Maj Gen Dwight Wheless, has mandated that the Safety Pledge in
this message be recited at all Squadron and Wing
Meetings and also at all activities.
Please copy this and carry it with you until you
memorize it.
As a Civil Air Patrol member I pledge to promote
an uncompromising safety environment for myself
and others, and to prevent the loss of, or
damage to Civil Air Patrol assets entrusted to
me. I will perform all of my activities in a
professional and safe manner, and will hold
myself accountable for my actions in all of our
Missions for America.
